System Requirements
Supported Operating System
Windows 10 (64-bit) and Windows 11 (64-bit) (Recommended)
Older operating systems such as Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012/2012 R2 may work,
but are not recommended and may not be fully compatible with newer components
such as SQL Server 2022.
Hardware Requirements
Minimum (Single Terminal, Light Use Only)
- CPU: Intel Core i3 (or AMD equivalent)
- RAM: 8GB
- Storage: SSD with at least 64GB free space
Suitable for small businesses using a single terminal only.
Performance may be limited on larger databases or busy environments.
Recommended (Most Installations)
- CPU: Intel Core i5 (or AMD equivalent)
- RAM: 8GB – 16GB
- Storage: SSD (required)
Recommended for most retail and restaurant environments.
Provides smooth and reliable day-to-day performance.
Server / Multi-Terminal Setup
- CPU: Intel Core i5 / i7 (or AMD equivalent)
- RAM: 16GB recommended
- Storage: High-speed SSD (NVMe preferred)
Required when multiple computers connect to the same database.
A stronger CPU is critical for handling multiple users and database operations.
Display Requirements
Minimum (Retail / Restaurant POS Only)
- Screen Size: 11-inch
- Resolution: 1366 × 768 minimum
Suitable for Retail and Restaurant POS operation only.
Smaller 10-inch devices may be too cramped for comfortable day-to-day use.
Recommended Display
- Screen Size: 13-inch or larger
- Resolution: 1920 × 1080 (Full HD)
Recommended for the best user experience and improved touch usability.
Back Office Recommended
- Screen Size: 15-inch or larger
- Resolution: 1920 × 1080 or higher
Recommended for Back Office administration, reporting, stock management,
and setup screens. Some administration screens may not display optimally
on smaller tablet-sized devices.
Important Notes
-
Systems with low-performance processors such as Intel Celeron or Pentium may install successfully,
but can result in slow performance, database timeouts, or restore failures.
-
SQL Server performance is highly dependent on CPU and RAM. Insufficient resources may cause
errors during database operations such as backups and restores.
-
A Solid State Drive (SSD) is strongly recommended. Traditional hard drives (HDD) may result
in poor performance.
-
Touch-screen devices with small displays may technically run the software,
but usability can be limited depending on screen size, scaling, and resolution.
