Edit a sale and/or redo the payment for a sale

You can edit a sale or redo a payment of a sale if a cash-up for that till session hasn't been done yet. Sales for till sessions that have been closed cannot be edited.

To edit a sale, the cashier that did the sale needs to log into the retail or restaurant app. From the retail or restaurant app, select Menu and then 'Edit Sale / Redo Payment'. By default the cashier will need authorization from a manager. You can change the security level for this task in security settings.

In the retail app, you can simply then edit the sale or click on pay to redo the payment.
In the restaurant app, you will need to select an open table to edit the sale. It does not need to be the same table the sale was originally created on.

The event will be logged in the event log.
