Head Office Problems and Fixes

If your branches are not updating correctly, the first thing you must do is to check your head office logs at the head office and at each branch. You can also have a look at the list below for other common head office problems.

A Branch is not being updated

Check your head office error log at the branch. If there is a message stating that 'No active licence found for the branch', then it can be one of the following:

  1. Your head office licence expired.
  2. You did not enter the correct shared key in the head office setup at the branch.
  3. Your branch code is not the correct code in the head office setup at the branch.
  4. Your branch code is not correct at the head office or you did not upload the branch info from the head office.

If you do not get an error message, remember the back office app needs to be open at the branch (no one needs to be logged in), and there needs to be an internet connection.

Products not updating correctly at branches

If your branches are being updated, but the products are not updating correctly, check the following:

  1. Check that the stock code and barcode number used for each product at the head office is the same stock code and barcode number that is used for the same product at each branch.
  2. Check that you do not have any duplicate stock codes at the head office or at the branches. When using the head office features, stock codes must be unique per product. You should also enable the option to enforce unique stock codes (current duplicates will need to be changed manually).
