Offline Installation (No Internet Connection)

If you need to install ROBOTILL on the main computer (server) and the computer has no internet connection, or if you receive an error during installation such as “Download failed”, “Download timed out”, or “Internet connection was lost”, you can complete the installation using the offline method shown in the video below.

How to Do an Offline Installation

Doing an offline installation is easy. Just follow these steps:

1. On a PC with a stable internet connection download the following files:
   • RobotillSetup.exe
   • SQLEXPR_x64_ENU_2022.exe
2. Copy both downloaded files to a USB memory stick or external drive.
3. On the computer where ROBOTILL will be installed, run the RobotillSetup.exe file directly from the memory stick.
4. The ROBOTILL Database Setup Wizard will start. Select 'Main Computer installation', and then 'Offline Install'. When prompted, select the SQL Server install file (SQLEXPR_x64_ENU_2022.exe) that you copied to the memory stick.

The wizard will then install and configure SQL Server correctly without requiring an internet connection.
